Sausalito, CA – Family in Marin County is seeking a full-time nanny with a backgrounf in in behavioral development or special education to support their 10-year-old child with ASD.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 12 PM to 8 PM, with a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The earlier part of the day will focus on family assistant duties, including running errands, researching camps and after-school activities, and booking medical appointments for the child. Afternoons and evenings are centered around the child’s routine, including transportation to activities, structured downtime, dinner, and bedtime prep. The home prioritizes structure, predictability, and warmth, and the right candidate will be someone who can maintain a consistent routine while adapting thoughtfully when needed.
This is a fully staffed household, so being a respectful, collaborative team player is essential. A college degree, valid California driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and a minimum of 5–8 years of full-time experience working with special needs children are required. Salary is $40–$50/hour DOE, with full medical benefits and paid time off.
