A warm and easygoing family in Santa Monica is looking to hire a full-time nanny to care for their two children, ages 4 and 7. This is a Monday–Friday position with guaranteed full-time hours, ideal for a proactive, organized, and flexible childcare professional who is confident balancing both childcare and light household support. The family is seeking someone who can become a steady and reliable presence in their children’s daily routine.
Day-to-day responsibilities include school drop-off and pickup, preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children, assisting with basic homework, and supporting after-school routines. The nanny will also engage the children in afternoon activities such as outdoor play, crafts, reading, and swimming supervision, ensuring a safe and active environment that encourages learning and creativity.
Additional duties include family laundry, running errands, keeping the children’s rooms and play areas tidy, and occasionally helping prepare simple meals for the parents. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable stepping in where needed to help the household run smoothly while maintaining a warm, structured, and engaging environment for the children.
Compensation up to $40/hr.
