Ages of Children: 2 1/2 year old boy and baby girl due November 4
Compensation and Benefits:
The family is offering a rate of $25-30 per hour, depending on experience.

This growing family is excited to add a nanny to their caregiving team as they anticipate the arrival of a baby girl this November! They are looking forward to seeing how their helpful and independent 2-year-old adapts to being a big brother. The ideal nanny for this position will be patient and flexible as the family adjusts to life as a family of four. An overall willingness to pitch in as needed during this time of transition is appreciated.
The 2-year-old attends school each day until 3:00 PM. When the position begins the family is seeking assistance with household tasks from 10AM – 3PM each day. Household tasks will include errand running, dishes, kitchen tidying, assistance with basic meal prep (washing fruit, chopping veggies, etc.), and maintaining a tidy environment throughout the day in the common areas, kids’ rooms, and playroom. At 3:00 PM the nanny will pick up the 2-year-old from school and provide hands-on childcare until 6:00 PM.
Baby girl is due in early November, and the mom plans to take 12 weeks for maternity leave. Once the baby is born the daily tasks will shift somewhat to include assistance with caring for the new baby as needed, though mom will be taking an active role in her care during maternity leave.
When mom returns to work in February, the nanny’s hours will shift to the longterm schedule, which is 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. At this point the household tasks will decrease to standard nanny duties (children’s laundry, dishes, meal and snack prep for the kids, and general tidiness). The focus will be on providing hands-on, attentive childcare for the baby all day, picking up the 2-year-old at 3:00 PM, and caring for both children until 5:00.
The family values maintaining a consistent schedule and would love to find a nanny who is able to help get their new little one on a reliable schedule. The ideal nanny for this position will be highly reliable, communicative, and excited to find ways to connect with the children and provide happy, fun-filled days!
