A family in San Jose, CA is looking for a warm and experienced Mandarin-speaking nanny to care for a toddler and a new baby arriving soon. A background in early childhood education and hands-on experience with both infants and toddlers are important for this role. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of child development and enjoys planning age-appropriate activities that support learning, play, and developmental milestones. Mandarin will be spoken with the children throughout the day to support their language development.
The nanny will be responsible for the children’s daily care, including preparing meals and snacks, managing routines, organizing age-appropriate activities, and providing attentive care for the baby once born. The role also includes preschool drop-offs and pick-ups, so a confident driver is required.
The family is open to either a live-in or live-out nanny. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM, at $35–$45 per hour, depending on experience.
Candidates should be non-smokers, up to date on vaccinations, and have a valid driver’s license.
