Family in San Francisco is seeking an experienced and safety conscious Newborn Care Specialist to care for their baby due in March 2026. Ideal candidate is able to offer guidance as needed, is calm, nurturing and easy going.
The duties include feeding by bottle or bringing baby to Mom for nursing, burping, changing, swaddling and settling baby back to sleep after feeding, bathing, documenting baby’s patterns including sleeping log, feeding and changing times, providing parental guidance and support, transitioning baby to a regular feeding schedule, nursery organization, sterilizing bottles, and infant laundry.
The schedule is Live-in, 24/7 with 5 or 6 hours in breaks throughout the day OR Live-out, 8:00 pm to 10:00 am, 7 nights per week for two or three months starting in March, 2026. There is a chance the baby will arrive early, in late February/early March.
Salary: $50.00-$70.00/hr DOE
