A UHNW (Ultra-High-Net-Worth) family in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking an exceptional bilingual Mandarin/English Educator-Nanny to support the development and daily care of their three young children (ages 4 and 2-year-old twins).
This is a unique opportunity for a professional educator with nanny experience to transition into a highly rewarding private household role, combining structured learning with nurturing, hands-on care. Key Responsibilities
Education & Curriculum Development
Design and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate curriculum for early childhood through early primary years
Create structured daily learning experiences that promote language development in both Mandarin and English
Integrate real-world environments and cultural context into educational activities
Foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking through play-based and structured learning
Childcare & Development
Provide warm, attentive, and responsive care that supports emotional well-being and confidence
Establish and maintain consistent routines, balancing structure with flexibility
Support developmental milestones for multiple young children simultaneously
Household & Care Coordination
Partner closely with parents and caregivers to ensure alignment on routines, expectations, and communication
Manage children’s daily schedules, activities, meals, clothing, and supplies
Assist with household coordination, including planning activities, running errands, preparing meals, and supporting travel logistics
Travel & Flexibility
Travel internationally with the family for extended periods (up to several months)
Provide occasional weekend coverage during travel or as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
Native Mandarin speaker with professional or college-level English proficiency
Formal background in education (Early Childhood or K–5 strongly preferred)
Experience designing and delivering structured curriculum in a home or school setting
Prior experience in private households or as a nanny/educator strongly preferred
US citizen or permanent resident strongly preferred due to international travel requirements
Highly organized, discreet, and professional
Comfortable working in a high-expectation, fully staffed household
Schedule: Full-time (primarily Monday–Friday; flexibility required during travel)
Salary: Up to $150,000/year (DOE)
