We are seeking an experienced, nurturing, and knowledgeable full-time nanny to care for a happy 1-year-old in San Carlos, CA. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of early childhood development and enjoys creating enriching, age-appropriate experiences that encourage learning and growth.
Responsibilities include planning engaging daily routines with outings to local parks, libraries, art and music classes, the zoo, museums, and other Bay Area attractions, while regularly introducing new experiences to keep each day stimulating. The nanny will carefully observe and document the child’s developmental progress, provide parents with weekly updates on milestones and developmental goals, prepare and wash bottles, make healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks, handle the child’s laundry, and maintain tidy nursery, play areas, and shared family spaces.
Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and a reliable vehicle for transporting the child to activities, with mileage and gas reimbursed by the family.
The schedule is four days per week, from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and the position offers $40 per hour.
