An experienced live-in nanny is wanted in Sacramento, CA to care for a sweet 2-year-old boy. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely enjoys being part of a child’s day, creating fun and age-appropriate activities, and supporting his development as he grows. The ideal nanny will be active, organized, dependable, and comfortable taking the lead on outings, classes, playdates, and everyday routines.
Responsibilities include:
Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for a 2-year-old child.
Plan engaging activities, outings, classes, playdates, and age-appropriate learning experiences.
Support the child’s early learning, social development, and daily routines.
Prepare meals and snacks for the child and help maintain healthy mealtime routines.
Handle the child’s laundry and keep toys, play areas, clothing, and belongings organized.
Manage preschool drop-offs and pickups and safely drive the child to activities and appointments.
Pack and organize the child’s belongings for family trips and assist with travel preparation.
Travel with the family on domestic and international trips as needed.
Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing environment while keeping the child’s routine consistent during travel.
The family travels regularly, both domestically and internationally, so travel nanny experience and a valid passport are required. The nanny should be comfortable adjusting to a different schedule while traveling, including occasional longer Monday–Friday days. The position offers private live-in accommodation and a starting annual salary of $100,000, along with paid vacation, sick days, and holidays.
