A lovely family based in Rome is seeking an experienced Summer Nanny to join them for July and August and provide additional support while their two eldest children, aged 5 and 4, are on school holidays. The family also has a newborn and employs a full-time nanny, so the focus of this role will be on keeping the older children engaged, active and happy throughout the summer. The parents are keen to find a native English or French speaker who can help the children develop their language skills naturally through conversation, play and everyday activities. The children speak Italian, have a basic understanding of English and previously enjoyed spending time with a French au pair. The nanny will take the lead in creating a varied programme of educational and age-appropriate activities, including arts and crafts, outdoor games, creative projects, reading, excursions and other enriching experiences that encourage curiosity while keeping screen time to a minimum. The family divides its time between Rome and its seaside home in San Felice Circeo, and the nanny will accompany them in both locations. Accommodation is provided, and the schedule will be Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 7:00pm with a one-hour lunch break. This position would suit a proactive, energetic and imaginative nanny who enjoys spending time outdoors, values learning through play and can create a fun and stimulating environment during the school holidays.
