We are seeking a Japanese-speaking nanny in Rochester, NY to care for two children, ages 6 and 4. This live-in position is ideal for a reliable, organized, and engaging caregiver who is fluent in Japanese and passionate about working with school-aged children. The ideal candidate will help foster language development while creating a positive, nurturing atmosphere that supports the children’s daily routines, education, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities include:
Providing attentive care for two school-aged children
Speaking and engaging with the children in Japanese to support language development
Managing morning and afternoon routines within a split shift schedule
Handling school drop-offs and pick-ups (nanny car provided)
Driving children to extracurricular activities and appointments
Assisting with homework and encouraging educational development
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities and playtime
Preparing meals and snacks for the children
Maintaining organization of children’s belongings and spaces
Compensation up to $75,000 per year via payroll.
