A high profile family based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is looking for an experienced Spanish-speaking governess to support the care and educational development of their two children, aged 5 and 6. The family is looking for a native or fluent Spanish speaker who will naturally incorporate the language into play, conversations, and daily routines while creating a fun and stimulating environment. The household is fully staffed, so they are looking for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and is happy collaborating with other household staff.
The role combines childcare with educational guidance, and also involves international travel, so an EU passport is essential to allow for smooth travel with the family. This is a live-in position, with comfortable accommodation provided on the family’s property. A work visa will be sponsored, and all business-related travel expenses will be covered.
Responsibilities:
Support the children’s daily care, routines, and overall well-being.
Encourage Spanish language development through play, conversation, and everyday activities.
Plan engaging educational activities that support learning and age-appropriate development.
Help establish and maintain consistent daily schedules and routines.
Foster curiosity, confidence, and positive learning habits.
Accompany the family on international travel as required.
Work collaboratively with the family’s household staff to ensure the children’s needs are met.
Schedule: Six days per week. On school days, working hours are 1:00pm–8:00pm. Full-day coverage is required on weekends and during school holidays.
Salary: €1,200–€1,400 net per week (tax free), depending on experience.
