A prestigious VIP family based in Riyadh is seeking an educated, engaging, and dynamic child mentor, governess or tutor, to become a trusted companion and positive role model for their active and bright 10-year-old daughter.
This is not a traditional nanny position. The family is looking for someone who can build a genuine connection, inspire confidence, encourage curiosity and learning, and actively participate in the interests, trends, and activities that are important to young girls today.
The successful candidate will become an influential presence in the child’s life, supporting her personal growth, social development, and educational journey while creating a fun, stimulating, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Build a strong, positive, and meaningful relationship with a 10-year-old girl
Encourage confidence, independence, and personal development
Support educational activities, learning opportunities, and creative pursuits
Engage in age-appropriate hobbies, interests, and recreational activities
Act as a mentor, role model, and trusted companion
Plan and participate in fun, enriching, and engaging daily activities
Work collaboratively alongside other nannies and household staff
The Ideal Candidate
EU passport holder
Positive, energetic, and engaging personality
Well-educated, articulate, and culturally aware
Naturally nurturing with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to connect with pre-teens and understand modern youth interests and trends
Creative, proactive, confident, and emotionally intelligent
Passionate about supporting children’s development and wellbeing
Desired Experience
Previous experience in any of the following areas is highly desirable:
Nannying
Teaching or education
Childcare
Tutoring
Mentoring
Youth development programmes
