A family in Providence, RI is seeking an experienced French-speaking Nanny to care for their 2-year-old and newborn. The ideal candidate will be fluent in French, passionate about language development and early childhood learning, and confident caring for both an infant and a toddler, with a strong focus on early development, routines, and language exposure. Someone organised, calm under pressure, and comfortable managing two young children at different developmental stages will be the best fit.
Responsibilities include full care of both children, planning age-appropriate activities, and supporting early language development in French. The nanny will also research and attend local classes and activities, helping to structure enriching outings and experiences. Light child-related housekeeping is also required, including children’s laundry, tidying bedrooms and play areas, washing and sterilising bottles, and keeping all child-related spaces clean and organised.
The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Compensation is $32–$35 per hour depending on experience.
