A private family in Bristol is seeking an experienced and professional Maternity Nurse to provide expert newborn and postnatal care. This is a short-term, 2-week booking starting in May 2026, offering a 24/5 schedule to support the family during the early postnatal period.
Key Responsibilities

Provide full newborn care, including feeding support (breast and/or bottle), winding, bathing, and settling

Establish healthy sleep routines appropriate to the baby’s age

Offer postnatal support and guidance to the mother

Monitor the baby’s health and development, identifying any concerns

Maintain a clean and safe nursery environment

Work collaboratively with the parents, respecting their preferences and routines

Provide reassurance, education, and practical advice to first-time or experienced parents
Requirements

Proven experience as a Maternity Nurse or Newborn Care Specialist

Relevant childcare or maternity nursing qualifications

Strong knowledge of newborn care, feeding, and sleep shaping
