Additional information: Nanny required to care for three children, two girls who are born January 2019 and July 2017 and a little boy who was born November 2020. The role will be sole charge, working 50 hours per week over 4 days. The accommodation for the nanny (if required) is self-contained and comprises of a separate annex which has bedroom/living room, bathroom, and kitchen with washing machine. A driver is essential, and a car will be provided for nursery duties and sole use. The family employ a cleaner and do not have any pets. Holiday travel may be required by the nanny and destinations are likely to be for ski holidays.
The family are looking for a kind, motivated and organised nanny to care for their children. The children are describes as having big personalities, big appetites, and big hearts! The youngest is cheerful and cuddly. His favourite pastime is climbing, and he enjoys peek-a-boo and grabbing noses, particularly when he is supposed to be going to sleep. The middle girl is a happy-go-lucky girl who thinks she is Skye from Paw Patrol. She will whirl around like a helicopter until she falls over. She also likes to be a dinosaur and stomp around the house and has recently discovered making funny faces when anyone takes her photo. She goes to nursery two and a half days a week. The eldest is a delightful girl who wants to be a ballerina when she grows up. She loves learning about everything and anything and skips happily into school each morning. All three children are in an established routine.
The family are looking for a proactive nanny who will join the family. There is a good nanny network in the area and lots of local groups to go to, and day trips. The family are keen that the nanny keeps the children entertained with age-appropriate activities as well as conducting the standard nursery duties for this role. The family currently employ a nanny who has been with them four years and they would welcome someone looking for a permanent position, ideally for three to five years.
The family will offer the successful candidate a £170 yearly CPD budget and 28 days’ annual leave per year (including bank holidays).
