A family in Princeton, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Spanish-Speaking Nanny to care for their toddler, who will be starting preschool in September, and their newborn baby. This is a wonderful opportunity for a nanny who genuinely enjoys supporting children’s growth and development while helping a family raise bilingual children. The family is committed to language immersion and would like the nanny to communicate exclusively in Spanish with the children throughout the day.
The ideal candidate will be nurturing, organized, and confident caring for both a newborn and a young child. Beyond providing excellent childcare, the nanny will play an important role in fostering language development, encouraging curiosity through play-based learning, and helping maintain smooth daily routines.
Responsibilities:
Speak exclusively in Spanish with the children to support bilingual language development
Provide attentive care for a toddler and newborn
Support educational and developmental milestones through engaging, age-appropriate activities
Assist with preschool drop-offs and pick-ups
Plan creative play, reading, and learning opportunities throughout the day
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children
Maintain children’s routines, schedules, and nap times
Handle children’s laundry and keep clothing, toys, and supplies organized
Keep children’s spaces tidy and well-maintained
Accompany the family on occasional travel when required
Communicate regularly with parents regarding routines, milestones, and daily activities
Requirements:
Fluent or native Spanish speaker
Previous experience caring for both toddlers and newborns
Strong understanding of child development and early childhood education
Warm, reliable, and highly organized
Excellent references from previous nanny positions
Comfortable working as part of a family team
Flexible and willing to travel occasionally
Legal authorization to work in the United States
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
- Occasional travel may be required.
- Compensation: $35 per hour
