We live in Potrero Hill, San Francisco, CA and we are seeking a warm, responsible, and experienced live-in nanny to care for our 1-year-old child. The ideal candidate is nurturing, attentive, and enthusiastic about supporting early childhood development. Vietnamese language skills are strongly preferred, as we aim to foster bilingual language exposure.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, compassionate care for a 1-year-old throughout the day
Plan age-appropriate activities that support developmental milestones
Prepare meals and snacks for the child and assist with feeding
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for the child
Handle child-related housekeeping tasks (laundry, bottles, play areas, etc.)
Support daily routines including naps, playtime, reading, and outdoor walks
Accompany the family on occasional outings, appointments, or travel if needed
Be available for occasional evenings or weekend hours
Communicate openly with parents about the child’s progress, routines, and any concerns
Qualifications
Previous experience caring for infants or toddlers, ideally in a nanny or childcare role
Vietnamese language proficiency
CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to live on-site and maintain professionalism within the household
Strong organizational skills, reliability, and a calm, positive demeanor
Authorization to work in the United States
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM
Additional Hours: Occasional evenings and weekends, with advance notice
Benefits
Competitive annual salary: $80,000–$90,000 gross
