Family in Portsmouth, NH is seeking an experienced nanny for their 10-year-old boy. The role involves a split-shift schedule, ideal for candidates within a 20-minute commute. The family seeks a patient, engaging, and reliable individual who can provide a safe and nurturing environment in a long-term position.
Responsibilities:
Morning Routine:
Assist the child with getting dressed (clothes will be prepared by the parent).
School Drop-off/Pick-up: Assist with drop-off at school (parent drives) and pick-up from the bus stop.
After-School Care:
Supervise playtime and activities.
Prepare healthy and age-appropriate lunches and snacks.
Assist with homework, if needed.
Transport child to and from karate classes (up to 4 days per week).
Engage in age-appropriate activities with the child.
Household Responsibilities:
Light meal preparation for the child (simple meals).
Occasional assistance with dinner preparation for the family.
Maintain a clean and organized play area.
Schedule:
Morning: 6:00 AM – 8:00 AM (Monday-Friday)
Afternoon: 2:00 PM – 6:00/7:00 PM (Monday-Friday)
30-35 hours per week.
Flexibility is required as the parent’s schedule may vary slightly every 4-6 weeks
Compensation:
$25-$30 per hour ($43,200-$62,400 annually).
Paid holidays, sick days, vacation days, and personal days.
