A family in Pompano Beach, Florida is seeking an experienced and nurturing nanny to provide dedicated care for their newborn. This full-time position is ideal for a professional nanny with a strong background in infant care and a genuine passion for supporting children during their earliest stages of development. The family is looking for someone who can create a calm, safe, and stimulating environment while helping establish healthy routines and encouraging age-appropriate growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of newborn care, including feeding, soothing, maintaining nap schedules, and supporting developmental milestones through attentive interaction and engagement. The family values a nanny who is knowledgeable about infant development and can confidently guide the baby’s daily routine while maintaining open communication with parents. Occasional travel with the family may be required, making flexibility an important part of the role.
Requirements:
Previous professional experience caring for newborns and infants
Strong knowledge of infant developmental milestones and age-appropriate activities
Experience establishing and maintaining infant feeding and sleep routines
Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle
CPR and First Aid Certification
Comfortable with occasional travel
Reliable, patient, and nurturing personality
Excellent communication skills and professional references
Authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Compensation:
Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Full-time position
$28–$32 per hour, depending on experience
