A family in Plano is looking for a full-time live-out nanny to care for their 1-year-old daughter. They’re hoping to find someone who truly enjoys working with toddlers and brings a thoughtful, engaging approach to childcare and early childhood development. The ideal candidate is confident managing the day-to-day rhythms of toddler life independently — someone who can create structure, encourage learning through play, and provide calm, attentive care throughout the day.
This role would suit a nanny who is proactive, reliable, and naturally nurturing. The family values consistency and is looking for someone who can confidently handle toddler routines, healthy meal preparation, developmental activities, and child-related responsibilities without needing constant direction.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide attentive, hands-on care for a 1-year-old child
Manage daily toddler routines including meals, naps, playtime, and developmental activities
Encourage early learning through play, reading, music, and exploration
Prepare healthy meals and snacks for the child
Support emotional, social, and developmental milestones
Confidently manage toddler behaviours with patience and consistency
Keep nursery areas, toys, and children’s belongings organised and tidy
Handle child-related laundry and household tasks
Plan engaging indoor and outdoor activities appropriate for a toddler
Maintain a safe, nurturing, and positive environment at all times
While the family does occasionally travel, the nanny will not be required to travel, and hours will remain guaranteed. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 7am–7pm, offering $30–35/hour depending on experience.
