A warm and organized family in Placentia, California is seeking an experienced full-time nanny to care for their 3-month-old baby. This is a daytime position ideal for a professional nanny with strong infant expertise who is confident supporting early development in a calm, nurturing home environment.
The primary focus of the role is providing attentive, developmentally appropriate infant care, including supporting pumped breast milk feeding, practicing safe sleep, tracking developmental milestones, and engaging the baby through age-appropriate play, reading, and interaction. The family values supervised exploration and creating a safe, supportive space for their baby to grow and thrive.
A parent occasionally works from home, so the nanny must be comfortable working independently while collaborating respectfully as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide loving, attentive care for a 3-month-old infant throughout the day
Support pumped breast milk feeding and follow established feeding routines
Practice and maintain safe sleep standards at all times
Track and support developmental milestones
Engage the baby in age-appropriate play, reading, and interaction
Encourage supervised exploration in a safe, calm environment
Provide daily updates and proactive communication with parents
Light child-related tidying to maintain an organized home environment
Walk the family’s small dog, Bella, with the baby when time allows
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Extensive experience caring for infants
CPR and First Aid certified
Up to date on vaccinations
Strong knowledge of safe sleep practices, choking hazards, and infant safety
Punctual, reliable, and highly communicative
Comfortable working alongside a work-from-home parent
Calm, professional demeanor aligned with an organized household
Schedule: Monday to Friday
7:00 am – 3:00 pm
Compensation: $30–$33 per hour, depending on experience
