Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) – Phoenix, AZ
A family in Phoenix, Arizona is seeking an experienced Newborn Care Specialist (NCS) to provide expert overnight care for their newborn. This is a short-term, 8-week overnight contract ideal for a professional who specializes in newborn sleep support, infant care routines, and creating a calm, safe nighttime environment.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, nurturing, and confident in providing overnight newborn care while allowing parents to rest and recover.
Key Responsibilities
Provide attentive overnight newborn care, including feeding, soothing, and diaper changes
Support healthy newborn sleep habits and establish nighttime routines
Monitor infant safety and well-being throughout the night
Maintain a calm, clean, and organized nursery environment
Track and communicate feeding, sleep, and care details with parents
Follow best practices for safe sleep and infant care
Qualifications & Requirements
Proven experience as a Newborn Care Specialist or equivalent newborn care professional
Strong knowledge of infant sleep, feeding, and safety guidelines
Calm, dependable, and compassionate demeanor
Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Infant CPR and newborn care certifications preferred
Excellent references from previous NCS or newborn care roles
Schedule: Overnight shifts, Monday–Friday, 8:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Start Date: May 2026
Contract Length: 8 weeks
Pay: $40+/hour (DOE)
