First-time parents in Center City seek an experienced and educated FULL-TIME NANNY to care for their newborn baby boy (born late October 2022) from 8/8:30am-6/6:30pm. They plan to have a newborn care specialist work overnights to help sleep train their son. They are also happy to consider nanny candidates who are experienced with sleep training and are willing to help a night or two per week (not a requirement!). Both parents work time-consuming, demanding jobs. They work in the office approximately 3 days per week and work from home for the remainder of the week. They seek a nanny who is educated, organized, disciplined, and can keep their son on a schedule. Someone who is open and willing to share ideas and guidance but defers to the parents to make decisions about their son. The family seeks a nanny who respects their values and they respect their nanny’s values in return! Duties include complete childcare as well as washing and prepping bottles, feeding, diaper changes, playtime, spending time outdoors with the child, as well as the baby’s laundry, etc. There is a cat in the home who does not require care (no allergies please!). They seek a nanny who can grow with them long-term as they grow their family. Someone who can help with transitions (eating solids, dropping naps, etc.) as their son grows. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable of developmental milestones and can come up with activities to aid in milestone achievement. Someone who is calm, nurturing, and proactive to do little things around the home to make parents’ lives easier, such as keeping the home neat and organized while the baby naps. A huge plus if you are bilingual (mom speaks Mandarin). Must have prior infant experience. A plus if you have raised children of your own! Must be vaccinated for flu, COVID (+ booster), and tdap. Pay is competitive depending on experience. Benefits include paid sick days, holidays and vacation, as well as the potential for a health care stipend (negotiable). Start date is early January 2023, but is flexible for the perfect fit!
