PALO ALTO, CA (NATIONWIDE SEARCH) – Sweet family seeking FULL-TIME LIVE-OUT NANNY for their 2 daughters (19-month-old, and 1-month-old). The hours are 8 am – 5 pm, Monday – Friday with flexibility for evenings and weekends. The perfect candidate will be cultured, musically inclined, and bi-lingual. Duties include cooking for children, laundry for children, light cleaning, feeding, bathing, and creating and participating in activities with them. There is no current need to drive the children, but possibility of driving the children in the future. The family will provide a vehicle for driving the children if/when the need arises, as well as for the nanny’s use during off hours. The toddler is energetic and enjoys music and a mixture of indoor and outdoor play, so a creative nanny would be a great fit. The family is seeking a nanny that understands play-based philosophy, respectful parenting, is warm and nurturing, enjoys the outdoors, and is above all responsible and trustworthy! The nanny would only care directly for the toddler through October, then both children until January when the toddler begins half-day preschool.
The candidate must have Tdap, flu, Covid + booster, and MMR vaccines up to date. A passport is a must and the candidate needs the willingness to travel with the family domestically and internationally. Benefits include 10 days PTO + 5 sick days + Holidays to be negotiated. The nanny may have additional vacation days while the family is traveling. Relocation is negotiable for the perfect candidate. Pay is $30/hr via payroll. Start Date October 1st.
