A private family based on Palm Jumeirah, Dubai, is looking for an experienced Private Teacher/Governess to support the education and development of two children, aged 5 and 6. The successful candidate will be a qualified teacher with experience of the British curriculum and a genuine passion for working with young children. The role will involve supporting the children with homework and schoolwork, with a particular focus on English, Maths and Reading, while helping them build strong learning habits and confidence across all areas of their academic development.
The ideal candidate will be a native English speaker, warm, engaging and able to create a positive learning environment where the children enjoy learning. Previous private tutoring, governess or private teaching experience would be highly valued, as would the ability to adapt teaching methods to suit each child’s individual needs and personality. This is a six-day-a-week position, approximately 40 hours per week, offering the opportunity to become a long-term and important part of the children’s education.
