A family based in Paddington, London is seeking an experienced sole-charge nanny to provide exceptional care for their newborn. This is a fantastic opportunity for a professional nanny with strong infant experience who enjoys supporting children through the earliest stages of development. The family is looking for a nurturing, proactive candidate who can confidently establish routines, encourage healthy sleep habits, and create a stimulating environment that supports the baby’s growth and well-being.
The successful nanny will be responsible for all aspects of newborn care, including managing feeding schedules, preparing bottles, supporting weaning and the introduction of solids, and planning engaging age-appropriate activities both at home and out in the community. The role also includes organizing outings, baby classes, and playdates while ensuring the child reaches key developmental milestones. The ideal candidate will take a thoughtful and structured approach to childcare, balancing routine with enriching experiences that promote learning and development.
In addition to childcare responsibilities, the nanny will undertake light baby-related housekeeping duties, including children’s laundry, maintaining tidy shared spaces, organizing baby supplies and groceries, and cleaning toys and baby equipment.
This is a Monday to Friday position offering approximately 50 hours per week.
Salary: £20–£22 gross per hour, depending on experience
