We are looking for an experienced, reliable, and patient full-time live-in nanny to help care for our three children, ages 6, 5, and 2. This position requires the candidate to live with us in our guesthouse and would be best suited for someone who is energetic, mature, organized, and responsible. Our ideal candidate will be patient, a great communicator, have a positive attitude, and can multitask effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive and compassionate care for three children.
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and tidy environment, including children’s bedrooms and play areas, laundry, as well as other housekeeping duties as needed.
- Maintain regular sleep and wake schedules, including dressing and bathing.
- Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to play and learn.
- Organize and participate in age-appropriate indoor and outdoor activities.
- Follow parents’ instructions regarding routines, and any specific care requirements.
- Worldwide travel to provide care during family vacations.
- Schedule of five to six days a week and up to twelve hours per day (7:00 am -7:00 pm).
Experience:
- Valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred.
- Valid US Passport without restrictions for international travel and can have ability to travel with family.
- Previous experience in childcare, such as babysitting, nannying, daycare, or preschool.
- Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities is a plus.
- Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills to interact with both children and parents.
- Creativity and a genuine love for working with children.
- Reliable and safe transportation.
- Proof of vaccinations.
Compensation:
- Free use of multi-floor guesthouse, complete with private kitchen and bathroom.
- All groceries provided.
- $5,000 – $7,000 per month, depending on experience.
We are looking for someone who is willing to commit to this position for at least two years.
