A family based in Pacific Heights is seeking an experienced and highly professional ROTA nanny to care for their newborn and 2-year-old child. This is a fully involved childcare role requiring a nurturing, proactive, and developmentally focused candidate who can confidently manage the full scope of childcare responsibilities while maintaining consistency in routines and care. The family is looking for someone calm, organized, and experienced with both infants and toddlers, who genuinely enjoys supporting children through their early developmental stages.
Responsibilities include providing attentive daily care, following established schedules and routines, supporting developmental milestones, planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities, and transporting the children to classes and activities. The ideal candidate will be energetic, safety-conscious, and comfortable balancing the different needs of a newborn and toddler throughout the day. Some domestic and international travel will be required, so flexibility is essential. Candidates must be local to the Bay Area, have a valid driver’s license, and maintain up-to-date vaccinations, including MMR, Tdap, and flu vaccines.
Schedule:
7 days on / 7 days off rotation
24/7 coverage required during working weeks
Requirements:
Extensive experience caring for newborns and toddlers
Strong understanding of early childhood development and milestones
Comfortable managing routines, schedules, and age-appropriate activities
Valid driver’s license and confident driving children
Local Bay Area candidates only
Flexible and available for domestic and international travel
Up-to-date vaccinations required (MMR, Tdap, and flu)
