Daily Nanny needed for lovely family relocating from London. Monday – Thursday , sole care of 2 children aged 4 and 6 years old.
The Nanny will need to be a confident driver, and be happy in a rural environment (the family live on a farm) and be happy to look after a dog as well.
During term time the nanny will be responsible for getting the children ready for school, driving them there, picking up at the end of the day, giving them their dinner, helping with homework and putting them to bed. The hours are generally 7.30am – 6.30/7pm, although once or twice a week when the parents commute to London they may require a 6.30am start.
During the day when the children are at school the Nanny will do Nursery duties, batch cooking and help out around the house a bit (change the sheets on the beds, take the dog for a walk etc, no heavy housekeeping/cleaning)
In the holidays the nanny will have sole charge of the children and will need to drive them to their various camps and lessons, organise play dates and arrange activities if they’re at home – crafts, baking, games etc.
There will be weekly babysitting and occasionally the Nanny will be asked to work overnight if the parents need to be in London overnight for work. Start ASAP (end Sept ideally) and salary is negotiable depending on experience but inline with market rate.
