Family based in Oslo, Norway is seeking a live-in nanny to support them with their 1.5-year-old daughter. They are looking for someone who speaks fluent English; knowledge of a Nordic language would be a plus. Both parents work full-time, and one of them travels frequently for work. Their daughter has recently started kindergarten, so the family is looking for someone who can assist primarily in the mornings and afternoons, before and after her school hours. Duties will also include some light household tasks related to the child such as laundry, and keeping the house tidy and cooking her meals (occasional help preparing dinners for the family might be required). A cleaner comes weekly, so deep cleaning is not required. The role is approximately 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional babysitting during evenings or weekends as needed. This is a live-in position, and the nanny will have their own private, self-contained apartment that connects to the main family home. Salary: £600 to £700 gross per week.
