First-time parents in in Oakland, CA are seeking a seasoned Newborn Care Specialist or Postpartum Doula. The right candidate will bring a calm and knowledgeable presence, provide expert overnight care, and support hands-on parents with gentle, baby-led routines.
Key responsibilities:
- Providing overnight newborn care, including feeding, soothing, and diapering
- Handling baby laundry and keeping the nursery tidy
- Sterilizing and preparing bottles, tracking feedings and sleep
- Supporting parents with education on newborn care and safe sleep
- Collaborating closely with the family for consistency and gentle structure
This is a 6-month contract (live-in or live-out) starting in June 2026. You will work 6 nights/week (12-hour shifts). Pay starts at $50/hour.
