Seeking an energetic and active live-out ROTA nanny for a family of 6 moving to NYC. Expect a rotating schedule of 14 days on/14 days off, but candidates will need to be flexible to accommodate extended rotational shifts during periods of travel.
The position is likely to start in the Bahamas and responsibilities will include anything and everything pertaining to four school-aged children – getting them up and ready in the mornings, dropping them to school, general admin and organisational duties relating to the children during the day and then collecting them from school, taking them to any activities, supporting their evening routine and cooking delicious, nutritious meals. The family are sporty, close-knit and adventurous – they are looking for a nanny who will fit well into this dynamic, who is proactive, has a passion for the outdoors and healthy living, and who can keep up with their busy lives.
The position will involve regular international travel that includes the Bahamas, the US, and Europe. The home is fully staffed, so the rota nanny must be a team-player and an excellent communicator, happy to pitch-in wherever necessary. Candidates should be completely invested in the well-being of the children and with supporting the family as a whole, and must also love animals – there are two very friendly dogs in the household who are definitely part of the family! Definite bonus points if candidates can ski, swim, and/or are fluent in Spanish, and ideally the nanny is located in NYC and already familiar with what is on offer for school-aged children. A confident, safe driver with a clean licence is essential.
