A lovely family in Notting Hill, London is looking for an experienced Romanian-speaking nanny to care for their 1-year-old child. The family is keen to find someone who can naturally incorporate the Romanian language into the child’s daily life while providing attentive, nurturing care and supporting this exciting stage of early development.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with toddlers and a genuine understanding of how much growth happens during the second year of life. The family is looking for someone who enjoys creating engaging days filled with play, learning, exploration, and routine. They would love a nanny who can become a trusted part of their child’s world, helping to encourage confidence, independence, and bilingual language development through everyday interactions.
Responsibilities:
Providing full daily care for a 1-year-old child
Speaking Romanian consistently throughout the day to support language development
Establishing and maintaining healthy daily routines for meals, naps, and activities
Supporting key developmental milestones through age-appropriate play and learning experiences
Planning engaging indoor and outdoor activities that encourage curiosity and exploration
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the child
Managing all child-related duties, including tidying play areas and organising toys and supplies
Handling the child’s laundry and maintaining an organised nursery environment
Encouraging social, emotional, and physical development through positive interaction and guidance
Working closely with parents to ensure consistency in routines and developmental goals
This is a full-time, live-out role, Monday to Friday, approximately 50 hours per week.
