A bilingual family in Notting Hill is seeking an experienced Mandarin-speaking nanny to care for their two children, aged 2 and 5. This is a full-time Monday to Friday position and would suit a nanny who enjoys combining exceptional childcare with language immersion in a natural and engaging way. The family is looking for someone who can confidently incorporate Mandarin into everyday life through conversation, storytelling, play, songs, and educational activities, helping the children develop language skills in an enjoyable and meaningful way.

The role will primarily focus on the family’s youngest child during school hours, creating enriching days filled with age-appropriate activities, outings, and opportunities for learning and development. Before and after school, the nanny will also support the older child with routines, activities, and general care. The family would love to find someone warm, energetic, and genuinely interested in child development—someone who can create a happy, stimulating environment while becoming a trusted and valued part of the children’s lives.

Responsibilities:

Providing full childcare support for two children, aged 2 and 5
Speaking Mandarin consistently throughout the day to encourage natural language acquisition
Incorporating Mandarin into play, reading, conversation, music, and educational activities
Planning engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning and development
Supporting the youngest child’s developmental milestones and daily routines
Assisting with school-related routines for the older child, including before and after-school care
Organising outings, park visits, playdates, and local activities
Preparing healthy meals and snacks for the children
Managing children’s laundry, organisation, and child-related tasks
Keeping children’s bedrooms, play areas, and belongings tidy and organised
Working closely with parents to support routines, development, and language goals

Eligibility: Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK
