A private family in Norway is seeking a highly qualified Norland Nanny for a permanent, sole charge position caring for their 10-month-old baby. The ideal candidate will hold a Norland qualification or an equivalent recognised childcare training with substantial professional experience. Applicants must hold a valid EU passport. The family is looking for a nanny who demonstrates strong knowledge of early childhood development, particularly in the first year of life, and who can confidently take full responsibility for the child’s daily care and developmental progress.
This is a five-day-per-week live-in role, working standard live-in hours. The nanny will have sole charge responsibility and will be expected to plan and deliver age-appropriate activities that support the baby’s cognitive, emotional, physical, and social development. Creating structured routines, encouraging developmental milestones, and providing a calm and nurturing environment are key aspects of the role.
In addition to delivering high-quality childcare, the nanny will manage all usual nursery duties to a high professional standard. Responsibilities will include maintaining the baby’s areas, organising clothing and equipment, preparing meals for the child, and ensuring all developmental resources are well managed and age appropriate.
A confident driver is required for this role, and a car will be provided for professional use. Travel opportunities will form part of the position, so flexibility and a willingness to travel with the family are essential.
The nanny will be provided with a private bedroom and a private en-suite bathroom, ensuring comfort and privacy within the live-in arrangement.
