We are looking for a native Italian governess or governor, or a bilingual Italian-English speaking governess or governor for a lovely family residing in Nicosia, Cyprus and planning to move to Milan, Italy in a year, approximately in January 2026. You will work with 3 children, Boy 7, Boy 6 and Girl 3. The children speak English and attend English school and kindergarten. They will learn Italian from zero. The children are at school until 12pm so normally the governess will start work from 12pm except for holidays, sick periods or if the parents are away on business trips – in these cases you will work full day. This is a fully staffed household. Duties will include teaching Italian through everyday communication, supervise the daily routines, follow the children’s busy schedules with many after-school activities and online lessons. You will teach the children how to be independent, e.g. clean the table after the meals, change clothes after school, put the clothes in the wardrobe etc. You will also assist with the school homework in English. Accommodation is provided in a separate one bedroom apartment. Schedule Rota 3 weeks on and 2 months off! Yes that’s correct you work 3 weeks and then you have 2 months off. Salary is negotiable depending on your qualifications and experience from 1200 EUR net per week, all weeks paid both working and non working. All travel expenses paid by the family. Start in the middle of January 2025.
