We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Newport Coast Newborn Nanny to join a busy household of five. As a nanny in their family, you will primarily be responsible for the care of their newborn, but you will also work collaboratively with three other nannies to support the care of our two other children, aged 2 and 3 as well. This is a full-time position with a unique schedule of 4 days on and 4 days off, from 7 am to 7 pm plus overtime! The successful candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience caring for infants and toddlers, be energetic, proactive, and have excellent teamwork skills. It is essential that the nanny is comfortable working with dogs, as they have four hypoallergenic non-shedding dogs.
Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional care and nurturing for their newborn, ensuring their safety, health, and development. Collaborate effectively with three other nannies to ensure a cohesive and supportive childcare environment. Assist in the care of our other two children, aged 2 and 3, as needed and directed by the parents. Create a stimulating, engaging, and age-appropriate daily routine for the children, including educational activities, playtime, and outdoor exploration. Collaborate with the night nannies to maintain consistency in routines and transitions between daytime and nighttime care. Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including their bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces. Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences. Monitor and ensure the children’s safety at all times, both indoors and outdoors. Foster a positive and nurturing environment, promoting good behavior, manners, and personal hygiene. Accompany the children to appointments, activities, and outings as needed. Collaborate with other household staff, including the other nanny, to ensure efficient household operations. Communicate regularly and effectively with the parents, providing updates on the children’s activities, milestones, and any concerns. Adhere to the parents’ guidelines, routines, and parenting philosophies. Maintain confidentiality and respect the family’s privacy.
Rate is $35 per hour
