A family in Tribeca is seeking a part-time afternoon nanny to help care for their two children, a 5.5-year-old daughter and a 1-year-old son. The ideal schedule is 2:00–7:00 PM, with guaranteed hours, and occasional flexibility to stay later when needed. (Summers will follow a similar schedule). The family values someone who is organized, reliable, nurturing, respectful, and able to work independently while also following directions. This nanny will be working alongside the family’s full-time nanny.
Responsibilities include assisting with pickups, providing care for the children, and managing light household tasks such as unloading the dishwasher. While cooking for the family is not a primary responsibility, the ability to prepare meals occasionally is a plus. The family may also require the nanny to assist with errands and maintain a structured and organized household routine.
The family is looking for someone who is comfortable navigating the city for school pickups and other errands.
Pay: $35-40/hr.
