An UHNW family based in New York City is seeking an experienced Rotational Nanny to assist in the care of their bright and active 5-year-old son within a fully staffed household. This is a 5 days live-in / 5 days off rotation, ideal for a polished career nanny who is confident working in high-profile environments and understands how to blend seamlessly into a busy family’s lifestyle. The family is looking for someone calm, adaptable, naturally engaging with children, and able to maintain professionalism and discretion at all times.
The right candidate will bring a balance of warmth and structure, creating meaningful engagement while supporting the child’s daily routines, education, and overall development. Flexibility is essential, as the role includes domestic and international travel throughout the year. The family values someone who is proactive, collaborative with household staff, and genuinely enjoys building a positive, trusting relationship with both the child and parents.
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care and age-appropriate engagement for a 5-year-old child
Maintain consistent daily routines and healthy structure
Coordinate closely with parents and household staff to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
Travel domestically and internationally with the family as needed
Support educational activities, outings, and enrichment experiences
Encourage curiosity, creativity, confidence, and positive social development
Maintain complete confidentiality, discretion, and professionalism at all times
Assist in creating a calm, organized, and child-focused environment
Schedule: 5 Days Live-In / 5 Days Off Rotation
Local Candidates Only: This position is open to candidates already based in the New York area. No fly-in/fly-out arrangements or rotational travel candidates will be considered.
