We are currently seeking a highly experienced ROTA Nanny to provide exceptional care and support to a family with two children, 5 months and three years old.  They split their time between New York & London. The ROTA Nanny will work on a rotational schedule, sharing responsibility with another nanny, to ensure round-the-clock care for the children. This position requires a high level of flexibility, as the nanny will be expected to work evenings, weekends, and holidays and travel with the family as needed.

 

Responsibilities:

– Provide attentive and nurturing care for the children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times

– Create a stimulating and engaging environment for the children, including planning age-appropriate activities and outings

– Establish and maintain a consistent daily routine for the children, including mealtimes, nap times, and bedtime

– Assist with the children’s personal hygiene and grooming, including bathing, dressing, and diapering as needed

– Collaborate with the other nanny to ensure seamless care and smooth transitions between shifts

– Communicate effectively with the parents to provide updates on the children’s activities, progress, and any concerns

– Support the children’s educational and developmental needs, including assisting with homework and engaging in educational activities

– Foster a positive and respectful relationship with the children, promoting their social and emotional development

– Maintain a clean and organized environment for the children, including tidying up after activities and ensuring safety standards are met

– Adhere to any specific parenting philosophies or guidelines provided by the parents

– Accompany the family on trips and vacations as needed, providing childcare during travel

 

Requirements:

– Previous experience as a Nanny, preferably in a ROTA or live-in position

– Proven experience caring for children of similar ages

– Certified in First Aid and CPR for infants and children

– Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities

– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

– Ability to work collaboratively with another nanny and communicate effectively to ensure smooth transitions and consistent care

– Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

– Respect for privacy and confidentiality

– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record (if required for transportation)

– Ability to travel with the family as needed

 

Pay is $100,000-120,000 gross per year
