We are looking for full-time Nanny to join a lovely family based in the Upper East Side, New York. You will be responsible for the care and wellbeing for two young boys, 1 years old and 4 years old on a permanent live-out basis.
The family are seeking a Nanny who is kind and friendly, and who is genuinely passionate about the development of children and who enjoys engaging them in activities and play. Experience with early years and development is beneficial for this role and is hugely advantageous. This role would suit an active, developmentally focused Nanny who is happy to work independently on a sole charge basis.
The nanny will be an all-rounder and flexible to help with light housekeeping duties around the house and cooking healthy and nutritious meals for the boys. The family’s ideal Nanny will be caring, warm and nurturing whilst able to set boundaries when needed.
Duties include; morning routine, helping with breakfast, nap time, taking the children out to the park and arranging play dates, helping with bath time and getting the children ready for their bed time routine. The ideal nanny will love doing activities with the boys and keeping them busy.
A French or Korean speaking nanny is highly advantageous and preferred, but not crucial. You will be working from 7am – 7pm, Monday to Friday. The family live a short 2 minute walk from the Q Train Line in Upper East Side, New York. Interviewing now for an ASAP start.
Duties:
• Responsible for the care, wellbeing and development of the children
• Playing with the children
• Light housekeeping duties, cleaning and making sure the children’s nursey and play areas are clean
• Has very strong hygiene standards
• Ensuring the boys have a healthy and varied daily routine
• Organising age appropriate activities and playdates
• Encouraging excellent manners and behaviour
• Acting as a positive role model to the boys
• Implementing a bath and bed routine with the children
• Monitoring the young boys and assessing their needs
• Keeping children’s bedroom tidy and ensuring they have clean clothes
To be considered for this role you must;
• Be fluent in English Language
• An additional language such as French or Korean is highly advantageous
• Have 5+ years previous experience as a Nanny
• Have excellent contactable references
Salary : $100,000 gross per annum
