A family based on the Upper East Side, New York City is seeking an experienced and engaging nanny to care for their two young daughters. Both children attend school, so the role is a balance of after-school childcare, routine support, and light family assistant duties. The ideal candidate will be warm, proactive, and highly organized, with a genuine interest in supporting children through structured, educational, and creative engagement.
Key responsibilities include hands-on childcare with an educational focus, planning age-appropriate and stimulating activities, and supporting smooth daily routines. The role also involves assisting with errands and light household organization to help keep the family’s schedule running efficiently. The family travels frequently during the summer; however, the nanny is not required to travel.
This is a Monday to Friday position, approximately 40 hours per week, with hours that may vary but are always communicated in advance. Compensation is $40–$45 per hour, depending on experience. Candidates must be based locally in New York City, as no relocation is being considered for this role.
