A private family in Needham, Massachusetts, is looking for an experienced nanny to care for two children aged 4 and 1. The eldest attends preschool, and the role will focus on providing developmentally focused care for both children throughout the day. The nanny will manage the children’s daily routines, handle preschool drop-off and pick-up, prepare healthy meals and snacks, and plan engaging activities that support their learning and development. Regular outings will be encouraged, including trips to the playground, library, and other local activities suitable for the children. The afternoon routine will include play, dinner preparation, mealtimes, and getting the children settled at the end of the day. The position also includes children’s laundry and some light household assistance related to the family and children. A reliable personal vehicle is required for on-the-job driving, and parking is available at the home. The family is looking for someone dependable, nurturing, organised, and confident caring for two young children while keeping their days active and structured. The schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm. The pay is $30–$35 per hour, plus guaranteed hours, mileage reimbursement, and standard benefits.
