A family in Nashville, Tennessee is seeking an experienced Nanny Educator to support the care and homeschool education of their two boys, ages 9 and 11. This is a great opportunity for a strong teaching professional who enjoys working closely with school-aged children and blending structured education with day-to-day childcare. The role focuses on delivering homeschool curriculum for a 3rd and 5th grader while adapting teaching methods to match each child’s individual learning style and needs. In addition to academic support, responsibilities include supervising daily routines, maintaining structure and consistency across the week, and providing attentive care throughout the day. The nanny educator will also handle transportation to extracurricular activities, communicate regularly with parents regarding progress and behavior, and support general organization within the children’s schedule. Occasional travel with the family will also be required.
Requirements:
Strong teaching background (education, tutoring, or classroom experience preferred)
Experience working with school-aged children (elementary and middle school)
Ability to deliver and adapt homeschool curriculum
Understanding of different learning styles and individualized instruction
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Comfortable providing transportation to extracurricular activities
Strong communication skills for regular parent updates
Ability to maintain structure, routines, and consistency
Willingness to travel with the family as needed

This is a long-term, Monday–Friday position offering approximately 40 hours per week with competitive hourly compensation starting at $45+.
