This is a Monday to Friday position (around 45 hours per week), ideal for someone who truly understands child-led learning and enjoys supporting independence, curiosity, and confidence in early childhood. This role is best suited to a nanny who values respectful caregiving and can bring a grounded, intentional presence into the home. The child is at a very active and curious stage, so the right person will feel comfortable balancing structure with freedom, guiding routines while also allowing space for exploration and discovery.
Key Responsibilities:
Providing attentive, full-time care for a 3-year-old child
Supporting daily routines including meals, naps, and transitions
Planning developmentally appropriate, child-led activities based on RIE / Reggio / Montessori principles
Encouraging independence, curiosity, and emotional awareness
Organising outings, nature walks, and local educational activities
Supporting language development and social skills through play and interaction
Maintaining a calm, safe, and nurturing environment
Driving to activities and outings using your own car
Keeping the child’s play and learning areas tidy and organised
A driver with their own car is required, as outings and local activities are a regular part of the week. The family offers $40+, depending on experience.
