Private family in Monroe, CT is looking to hire a dedicated and professional nanny to join their household and care for their 3 young children, ages 5 (girl), 3 (girl), 1 (boy), and a baby boy due in December 2025.
Responsibilities
Provide attentive, age-appropriate childcare, including for infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children
Engage children with creative and educational activities (crafts, reading, dress-up, outdoor play, library visits)
Assist with diapering, toileting, and potty training as needed
Transport children to local outings and activities using family-provided vehicle
Prepare simple meals and snacks for the children
Handle children’s laundry and linens
Maintain clean and organized child-related areas (playroom, bedrooms, kitchen after meals, etc.)
Encourage and guide children in picking up their own toys and tidying their rooms
Run occasional local errands (e.g., grocery store, dry cleaner)
Let dogs in and out throughout the day (no other pet care required)
Maintain open communication with parents and support a consistent daily routine
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, with occasional flexibility
Salary: $35/hour, negotiable up to $36–$37/hour for the right candidate
