A high-profile family based in Monaco is seeking an experienced Russian-speaking ROTA nanny/governess to care for their two school-aged children. This is a long-term, live-in position working on a 2 months on / 2 months off rota schedule, offering a great balance between professional commitment and extended time off. The family is looking for someone polished, highly organised, and confident supporting both the educational and day-to-day needs of school-aged children in a structured, international household.
The role focuses heavily on learning support, organisation, and maintaining strong routines, with an emphasis on communication and consistency. The family already employs a housekeeper and a chef, so this position is purely childcare-focused, although the nanny should be comfortable preparing simple meals such as breakfast when needed. A separate bedroom is provided within the family’s villa, and the role is available for an immediate start.
Responsibilities:
Speaking Russian with the children to support language development
Providing full childcare support for two school-aged children
Managing school correspondence, diaries, and daily communication with school where needed
Coordinating children’s schedules, activities, and educational commitments
Supporting academic progress, homework, and learning routines
Encouraging positive behaviour, manners, and social development
Planning age-appropriate educational and recreational activities
Maintaining children’s bedrooms, wardrobes, and play areas in an organised condition
Preparing simple meals for the children when required (e.g. breakfast)
Ensuring consistency in routines, structure, and daily organisation
Supporting travel and transitions when required within the rota schedule
Requirements:
Fluent Russian speaker
Previous experience as a nanny or governess with school-aged children
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience in high-profile or international households preferred
Ability to work independently within a staffed household environment
Discreet, professional, and child-focused approach
Schedule: 2 months on / 2 months off (ROTA)
