Sporty Manny (Bilingual English/Italian) – Milan, Italy
An international family based in Milan, Italy is seeking an energetic and sporty manny to care for their two active boys (ages 3 and 4). This role is ideal for a physically active childcare professional who enjoys sports, swimming, and outdoor activities, and who thrives in a dynamic, travel-oriented family environment.
The family travels frequently to destinations including New York, Switzerland, the Bahamas, and Tuscany, so the ideal candidate must be flexible, adaptable, and excited about working on the move.
Key Responsibilities
Childcare & Engagement
Provide attentive, hands-on care focused exclusively on the children
Plan and lead sports-based, outdoor, and active play
Encourage physical development, confidence, and coordination
Engage the children in age-appropriate games, activities, and adventures
Daily Care (Child-Related Only)
Prepare children’s meals and snacks
Maintain tidy, organized children’s areas and belongings
Support daily routines and transitions
Travel & Flexibility
Travel internationally with the family as required
Provide full-day care during travel, school holidays, or when children are home
Be open to occasional overnight care (private room provided)
Schedule
Primarily afternoons: approximately 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM while children are in school
Flexibility required for full days during travel, school holidays, or special circumstances
Qualifications & Requirements
EU or Italian passport required
Fluent in English and Italian (required)
Strong swimmer (essential)
Experience caring for toddlers or preschool-aged children
Flexible, travel-ready, and adaptable
Professional, responsible, and child-focused
Household Environment
Fully staffed household; responsibilities are childcare only
Live-out role in Milan (no housing provided in Milan)
Accommodation provided during all travel outside Milan
