A family located in Melbourne, Arkansas, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Governess to provide personalized education and care for their two children, ages 4 and 3. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in childhood education, with experience in tutoring and early childhood development. The family is looking for someone nurturing, intelligent, and engaging, who can foster a love of learning, particularly in core subjects such as math, English, science, and STEM, as well as introduce a second language—French or Russian.
The Governess will work closely with the children both at home and during their time at their sport barn, which the family visits five days a week. Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate time spent at the barn, with potential hours ranging from 8 AM to 2 PM or 11 AM to 3 PM, depending on logistics and needs. The Governess will be responsible for ensuring the children are safe while at the barn and for engaging them in educational activities.
This position offers a competitive salary of $50,000-60,000 per year, with 10 paid sick/personal days, 10 vacation days, and a health and wellness stipend. This position can begin ASAP.
