A family based in McLean, Virginia is seeking an experienced and highly organised Nanny / House Manager to support the care of their 10-year-old child and manage the smooth running of the household. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and experienced in both childcare and household management, with strong organisational skills and a calm, professional approach.
Responsibilities include school pick-ups, transporting the child to and from after-school activities, appointments, and extracurriculars, as well as providing homework support and ensuring a structured and supportive after-school routine. In addition to childcare duties, the role involves managing household tasks such as coordinating calendars, overseeing vendors, contractors, and service providers, handling grocery deliveries, and assisting with general household errands to keep day-to-day operations running efficiently.
This is a full-time Monday to Friday position, working 10am to 6pm, offering $35 per hour for the right candidate.
